NBSC’S SUL₂IP EXTENSION PROJECT ACHIEVES COPYRIGHT REGISTRATION FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER’S GUIDE
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) celebrates another milestone in its extension initiatives as Early Childhood Care and Development – Second Quarter (My Family and Me Teacher’s Guide), an output of the SuL₂IP (Sustainable Learning and Linkage to Isolated Places) A Community Extension Project, has been officially registered with the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL), through its Bureau of Copyright and Related Rights.
The work was issued Certificate of Copyright Registration No. 2026-08942-A-TCCR, dated October 14, 2026, recognizing NBSC as the copyright owner. This achievement highlights the College’s commitment to protecting intellectual property and developing meaningful, contextualized instructional resources through community-based extension initiatives.
The teacher’s guide was developed to support early childhood care and development, particularly in providing relevant learning experiences for young children through the theme My Family and Me. As an extension project output, it reflects the collaborative efforts of the College and its faculty contributors in producing educational materials responsive to the needs of early childhood learners and the communities served by the project.
Through SuL₂IP, NBSC continues to strengthen its engagement with communities by promoting accessible, inclusive, and contextualized learning resources. The copyright registration represents an important step in recognizing and protecting the intellectual contributions behind these materials while reinforcing the value of extension work in translating educational expertise into practical community benefits.
